Job Description: Golf Professional – Trackman Indoor Golf Simulator Facility

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Golf Professional to manage the day-to-day operations of our state-of-the-art Trackman Indoor Golf Simulator facility in Mattituck, NY. The ideal candidate will be a skilled golfer with a passion for teaching, customer service, and facility management. This role requires expertise in golf instruction, proficiency with Trackman technology, and the ability to create a welcoming and engaging environment for golfers of all skill levels.

Qualifications
• PGA or LPGA certification (preferred) or equivalent golf teaching/coaching experience.
• Extensive knowledge of golf instruction, swing mechanics, and club fitting.
• Proficiency with Trackman technology or similar golf simulator systems (training provided if needed).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with customers and build a community around the facility.
• Experience in facility management, customer service, or hospitality is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate peak facility usage.
• Basic technical aptitude for troubleshooting simulator equipment and software.
• Passion for golf and enthusiasm for promoting the sport in the Mattituck community.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand for extended periods and demonstrate golf swings.
• Light lifting of equipment or supplies as needed (up to 25 lbs).

Key Responsibilities
• Facility Operations
• Oversee daily operations of the Trackman Indoor Golf Simulator facility, ensuring a clean, safe, and professional environment.
• Manage scheduling for simulator bookings, lessons, and events to maximize usage and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Trackman equipment, coordinating with technical support as needed to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor inventory of golf-related supplies, merchandise, and refreshments, coordinating restocking as necessary.
• Golf Instruction & Customer Engagement
• Provide personalized golf instruction and coaching using Trackman technology to analyze swings, ball flight, and performance metrics.
• Develop tailored lesson plans for individuals and groups, catering to players of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced golfers.
• Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere, fostering customer loyalty and repeat business.
• Organize and lead golf clinics, leagues, tournaments, and social events to drive engagement and community building.
• Trackman Technology Expertise
• Utilize Trackman’s software and analytics to deliver data-driven insights and improve customer performance.
• Train customers on how to use the Trackman simulators effectively for practice, play, and improvement.
• Stay updated on Trackman software updates, features, and best practices to enhance the customer experience.
• Business Development & Marketing
• Collaborate with ownership to develop marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
• Promote the facility through social media, local partnerships, and community outreach in Mattituck and surrounding areas.
• Manage memberships, promotions, and loyalty programs to drive revenue and customer engagement.
• Administrative Duties
• Handle customer inquiries, bookings, and payments through the facility’s reservation and POS systems.
• Maintain accurate records of lessons, simulator usage, and financial transactions.
• Prepare reports on facility performance, customer feedback, and revenue for ownership.
